Procedures for Financial Assistance
The Fort Worth
Chapter of ARMA wishes to assist its members in good standing that have
experienced economic hardship, but want to remain active in the organization and
the Records Management field. Please
complete and submit the
Meeting Assistance Form to any member of the Board
of Directors.
The
following are guidelines to applying for assistance to help these members during
their hardship:
· Each
grant of assistance will be contingent upon the availability of funds in the
· Scholarship
Fund
· The
assistance will underwrite the cost of the monthly Chapter meeting
· The
assistance will only be available to members in good standing that have
demonstrated a
need
· There
will be no waiting period from the time hardship is demonstrated
· There
will be a maximum of $200 over a two-year period
· The
recipient must actively participate on a committee for the remainder of the
year(s)
involved
· Apply
monthly to the chapter treasurer by the 1st of each month – the
treasurer will present
the application to the Board at the regular scheduled Board
meeting
· The
treasurer will be responsible for alerting the Board the status of the
Scholarship Fund
All applications for assistance will remain strictly confidential
