New Lives School
New
Lives
School is a school located and ran by
the Fort
Worth
Independent
School District.
It is an alternative school for pregnant and/or parenting teens who attend
different grade levels, ranging from grades 6 - 12.
Students attending the
New Lives
School are able to
continue their academic coursework and earn credits towards graduation.
The New
Lives
School services include
parenting classes for gaining skills neccessary for raising a child, on-campus
social workers, full-time school nurses, well-baby and public healthcare
services, YMCA for children, survival skills classes, and postnatal classes.
All of these services are offered to the young teens, all while they earn their
normal education.
